Care is not an 'add on' at a Ryman village, it is built into the fabric of our villages from the very first design concepts. So, if your health needs change over time, we can continue looking after you.
Once you live in a Ryman retirement village, you will always have priority access to our comprehensive care options over non-residents. This offers peace of mind to couples or friends, knowing they can still be near one another even though their health needs are different. Should an immediate space be unavailable, we will do our best to accommodate you at another Ryman village until a space becomes available at your preferred village.
The levels of care we provide include resthome, hospital, specialist dementia care, and respite care. Your care is customised according to your needs and preferences. This is made easy via our award-winning myRyman Care app. Located on multiple devices dedicated to our care centres, enabling nurses and carers to access clinical data and record daily care tasks for you at the bedside.
We can even offer resthome care in a assisted-living apartment. This option enables you to remain in your own apartment but with a little extra support.
In resthome-level care, we provide exceptional clinical care by creating a customised care plan while you enjoy feeling connected and supported in our care centres.
In hospital-level care, we can support you with any chronic health needs or during a recovery period, while you enjoy feeling connected and supported in our care centres.
Through our myRyman Life model of dementia care, Ryman villages can provide supportive communities where residents can live in the moment, and feel kindness, love, and security. The focus is on experiences rather than processes.
Ryman villages offer respite care at resthome, hospital, and specialist dementia-level care. If you need extra support, rehabilitation, or you'd simply like a change of scenery and social engagement, we can take care of you.
Care options can vary between villages, please check with your local Ryman village.
