Keeping active while at home is important. Here are some suggestions to help you keep moving.

Christchurch Recreation and Sports Centres

Our gyms may be shut but you can still take an exercise class with us.

Our group fitness instructors have started running online classes to help you stay fit during the COVID-19 lockdown.

You can take part in the classes through the Christchurch Recreation and Sports Centre’s Facebook page.

YouTube Channel with lots of different workouts, fitness challenges, stretches, pilates, yoga, circuit training - something for everyone and all levels of fitness.


Fitness - 28-Day Squat, Plank & Lunge Plan

This free four-week plan from My Fitness Pal keeps things simple with just three basic moves with a challenge thrown in every other day. 


Les Mills Free Workouts

Les Mills has an online series of free of workouts, guided meditations and dance classes. There's something for everyone, including children.
