Dr Doug and Dave discuss a topic that affects us all to some degree, cancer. Dr Doug uses his significant clinical expertise to highlight the innovations of cancer treatment throughout recent history.

He explains that cancers with formerly terminal diagnoses are becoming increasingly treatable with higher survival rates than ever and talks through the importance of early diagnosis and how diagnosing various cancers has evolved.

Dr Doug also outlines how surgical techniques used in cancer treatment have been innovated by the medical and scientific community over time and how treatments have come to include cutting edge therapies like immunotherapy.
