Written by Kylie Williams
on July 27, 2020

Dr Doug and Dave delve into a hot topic worldwide, supported by significant science: loneliness.

Individuals enjoy meaningful communication, which can even be lacking in established relationships.

The absence of this leads to loneliness which “increases the risk of heart disease, stroke, and accelerates depression, dementia, and anxiety”.

For those of you unconvinced, a former US Surgeon General likened the health impact of loneliness to smoking 15 cigarettes a day!

Listen in as Dr Doug and Dave reveal the negative impact loneliness can have on all of us, as well as what we can do about it.
