Covid-19 Auckland

Ryman Healthcare COVID-19 update | 24 February

All Auckland villages

This is just a quick update to let you know about some changes we have introduced following the emergence of new community cases in Auckland on Tuesday.

Care centre visits can continue as normal, but we ask that you get your temperature checked when you check in at reception and that you collect a face mask to wear during your visit.

These are just a couple of extra precautions we would like use for the time being.

The requirement to wear masks includes visits to our serviced apartment residents. We include these visits because of the proximity of our serviced apartments to our care centres and the fact that a number of these residents receive care services.

Nothing has changed for our independent residents, but just a reminder that face masks are now compulsory on public transport.

Thanks to everyone for your cooperation and understanding about these requirements.

While the Government hasn’t changed the alert levels, we think these extra precautions are wise just to be safe.

We will be back in touch with any updates.

Kind regards,

Gordon MacLeod
