Masquerade Mask Making

The hospital residents were amazed with the festive spirit that the hospital created to celebrate the New Zealand Royal Ballet performing Romeo & Juliet.

The care centre transformed itself completely with our library balcony brightly decorated bringing an air of romance to our centre. The main lounge bloomed with colourful flowers and decorative masks, made by our residents in hands and crafts activities.

The nurses’ station invited us to dance with gorgeous images of ballet dancers. To top it all off we had an amazing display of stunning costumes in a fantastic Renaissance Parade performance by residents and staff.

It was such an amazing afternoon! In the photograph we have Emma Janson, Allan McQueen and Betty Dry who were getting ready for our masks & fun Happy Hour.
