A team of 30 first-time models from Charles Fleming Retirement Village lit up the catwalk in August, modelling beautiful new uniforms designed by Annah Stretton.
Hospital Activities Coordinator, Mariela Durnhofer said, “It brings vibrancy as it is colourful and it helps the residents to engage. If you are looking great they feel that. It helps the residents to connect more with you.”
Resident Peggy Foote loved the day and thought the uniforms were beautiful.
“They are well thought out and the design is beautiful. They’re very glamorous. They [the staff] looked so stunning and they acted so well on the catwalk. Not many people get to have their hair and make-up done at work and then go on the catwalk!”
