Tai Chi classes began in the village in November and we have a number of residents who are keen to master this skilful technique. The instructor Trevor, along with one of his colleagues, has been patiently imparting his skills and knowledge of Tai Chi. Our residents are learning how precise, rhythmic and relaxing Tai Chi is. Along with calming the mind, it improves breathing, posture, balance, coordination and strengthens the body. Likened to driving a car, it takes time, like all good things.
Residents can join in Tai Chi classes on Monday mornings at 9:00am in the village dining room.
