The afternoon of Tuesday 12 May was a hands on, fun filled Make & Create session, but boy, what a mess we made!
After months of collecting and drying every flower we could find (including sneaking a few from our Julia Wallace gardens) the time had come to put life back into our ‘dehydrated blooms’. With the expert guidance of Jo (one of our housekeepers but also ex-florist), we set out to make beautiful dried floral arrangements. Those involved were given a ceramic vase and with a chunk of Oasis, were ready to go. What a fantastic experience it was.
The room was filled with discussion over what flower to use next and where it should go. Everyone helped each other, making it all that more special. Sadly, the fun came to an end and the mass clean up began.
