On Friday 22 April our resthome residents hopped into the van and we went over to the Feilding Farmers Market.
We had a great time exploring the variety of stalls, and wow there was certainly a lot.
Because it was close to Anzac day there were lots of Anzac displays to look at. There was also a demonstration of biscuit and muffin icing along with taste testing. Yummy.... We all enjoyed this very much.
The Arana Milk was there where you can buy unpasteurised milk. Some of the residents enjoyed talking to the man who runs this farm. Some interesting conversations were happening.
On our way home we stopped at the lookout and admired the view and enjoyed an icecream. It's amazing what you can see from the top of Highfield Hill!
