We were lucky enough to be invited to the Marewa Golf Croquet Club for a learners afternoon followed by delicious afternoon tea. We were picked up in a bus and taken to the green where members of the club set us up into teams and sorted us out.
It didn't take long for the competitive streak in some of the residents to come out! The afternoon was such a great success that now we have golf croquet as part of the regular activities calendar every Tuesday. This is proving very popular and some of the residents are becoming quite skilled. A mention must be made of Trevor Hill, who after three weeks managed a 21 yard hoop! A huge thanks to the Marewa Golf Croquet club for welcoming us and for all the tuition they are providing.
