You are never too old to learn a new skill and this is very obvious with the Rowena Jackson Ukulele group. The townhouse residents, six players and one singer, now regularly perform around the village. Group founder, Anne Baron, learnt to play the ukulele as a teenager and has now encouraged five others to take it up. They have a great repertoire of songs and enjoy getting the audience to join in as they sing and play. The first song learnt was The Little Brown Jug which brings back memories to anyone who has tried to play the ukulele.
