Please join us as Lynn Dawson from Peggy & Friends, shares about her work in knitting for the vulnerable children in your community. Saddened by the increasing levels of child poverty in New Zealand, Lynn decided to do something about it. Now, with support from over 30 local knitting groups around the country, thousands of woollen ‘Peggy Squares’ are turned into blankets each year. These are then distributed through organisations such as The Women’s Refuge and Habitat for Humanity.

We recently had our 'classic movie' themed month, and in celebration we had a James Bond themed fine dining.
Residents dressed up and our wonderful staff decorated the room in James Bond style.
Later in the evening, we had a very entertaining quiz where residents had to collect as many diamonds as possible.
Thanks to the team for organising such a fun night!
