Unique village in a prime central location

Ryman's proposed Park Terrace Village will be located on two beautiful sites in central Christchurch just a short stroll from each other on Park Terrace. This is a spectacular village location situated just across the road from beautiful Hagley Park offering stunning views and endless opportunities to walk the dog or to take the grandchildren on various adventures. Christchurch Hospital is nearby, a variety of cafés and restaurants are within walking distance on the ever-popular Victoria Street, and with bus stops nearby, all the delights of the city centre are at your fingertips.

At Park Terrace Village, you can choose to live independently alongside a supportive village community in one of our architecturally designed apartments. Or, if you need a little extra support, a one-bedroom assisted-living apartment could be just what you need. To enable you to plan for the future, our state-of-the-art care centre will offer resthome, hospital and specialist dementia care.

You’ll love the lock-and-leave lifestyle, the feeling of camaraderie, and the endless activities and events available. Plus, amenities such as an all-weather bowling green, heated indoor swimming pool, café, hair and beauty salon, and movie theatre mean there’s always something to do or someone to meet. It’s a lifestyle you can thrive in, and for those local to the area, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy our village within your local village.

The measure of a full life at Park Terrace Village is certainly one that will get richer with age.

Independent and assisted living

FREEDOM TO LIVE THE WAY YOU WANT

Our proposed Park Terrace Village will offer living choices to suit everyone, so residents can live the way they want and blaze their own trails. Our apartments will be light and spacious, with clean lines and a clever open-plan design layout that provides an easy flow throughout.

If down the track you need more support, we will offer assisted-living apartments and a range of care options. That freedom and flexibility is empowering for residents and knowing care can be dialed up as needed means, quite simply, ‘no worries’. It's all part of what we like to call the Ryman Difference

ENJOY A LITTLE CERTAINTY

Our pioneering approach to retirement living includes resident-friendly terms designed to protect you and your family. Our base weekly fee is fixed for the entire time you occupy your apartment*, and our standard deferred management fee is capped at 20 percent – one of the lowest in the retirement sector.

*Some conditions apply.

A RANGE OF CARE OPTIONS

Care is not an ‘add on’ at a Ryman village, it is built into the fabric of our villages from the very beginning. It’s comforting for couples and friends to know they can still be near each other even if their health needs are different.

Our proposed Park Terrace Village care centre will offer a range of care options including resthome, hospital and specialist dementia care. Like all aspects of our villages, we constantly look for ways to improve both the care we provide and the innovation behind it. Care is customised using our myRyman Care app and residents love the food in our seasonal Delicious menu, which is prepared fresh on site by village chefs.
