Tony and Coralie Foden moved in on March 12 and are loving their time at Charles Upham.
“I love the fact that it’s so secure and everything we need is here,’’ Coralie says. “We love it and we’ve enjoyed being the pioneers.’’
Tony said the community spirit of the place had impressed him and he was looking forward to it increasing as the village centre opened.
“My mother and father lived in a retirement village and we both always knew it would be the right thing for us when the time came,’’ Tony says.
Coralie agrees that it was an easy decision to make.
“When we knew Ryman were building in Rangiora we decided that it was the right place for us to live. We signed up straight away, and there are about four lots of neighbours from our street who are moving in as well.’’
