Masquerade Ball

The Canterbury Masquerade Ball held in October was blue and gold themed. Our residents helped with making the crepe paper decorations and our men enjoyed painting their own masks in the Men’s Shed.

We were entertained by Harry Voice and his band which included the drums, bass and guitar. They played old time dance music which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

The food that was prepared by the kitchen was beautifully presented. There were asparagus rolls, sandwiches and plenty of sweet treats to go around.

The lounge was filled with residents and their family members whom also assisted with the event on the day, taking photos and dancing with residents. They were joined by many staff for a great afternoon of shared fun and music.

Our resthome, special Care and serviced apartments residents also had wonderfully colourful balls with many residents, family members and staff.
