If you can’t get to the farmyard, Anthony Wilding’s activities team will bring the farmyard to you.
There was a stampede to get to the village centre when the pets came for an afternoon of fun in September.
The animals – including miniature horses, a goat, chooks, a calf and rabbits – were a hit with young and old. Even the visiting rat had a lot of interested admirers – from a safe distance.
The farmyard fun was nicely timed to coincide with the end of the school day, so the little ones could come and enjoy the animals with their grandparents.
A great afternoon was had by all and everyone – even the rat – was well behaved.
