April was a very busy month with both Easter celebrations and ANZAC Day commemorations.

The Easter bunny made an appearance at the village on the day before Easter to distribute chocolate delights to all the residents.

The Village hosted a special ANZAC service for all our residents and families on the afternoon of ANZAC Day.

The service was organised by Linton Stuart, one of our independent residents. Linton coordinated the service with the Pukekohe RSA and even managed to get some pipers plus a couple of army-issue world war two jeeps to stand guard at the Village Reception.

We had around 200 attendees at the service which astounded us as it was the first one to be held.

We look forward to hosting another service next year.
