The outside garden area in the Special Care Unit has recently had a complete face lift.
The welcome changes include more garden, more seating and a more light and open space.
We have created a garden full of edible fruits (passion fruit, easy peel mandarins and berries) herbs and highly scented plants (Lavender, Gardenia, Rosemary and Daphne). We have ample space to plant seasonal vegetables and to raise our own seeds.
We are now constantly drawn to the garden’s beauty to socialise, have our tea or simply sit and soak up the atmosphere.
Many thanks to the Evelyn Page garden crew for planting out our garden, with the assistance of the Special Care residents and the activities team.
