Elvis impersonator Brendon Chase wowed both residents and staff with his hip-jiggling renditions of the King’s greatest hits on Friday.
The ladies swooned and the gents turned up their collars as Elvis turned his attentions to various individuals in the 100-plus crowd filling out the village centre.
New manager Jill Clark led the charge in getting everyone up and dancing when ‘Shake, Rattle and Roll’ came on!
Brendon sang a great range of tunes, from the rockier numbers to the ballads, including renditions of ‘My Way’ and ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’.
Elvis-fan Ann Waddell had made sure to get a position right at the front and was wowed by the performance.
“It was brilliant,” she said. “Listening to him sing all those songs took me right back to my youth.”
