Every year we celebrate Mother’s Day to honour the person who raised us and gave us the chance to experience a wonderful life the way we wanted to live. A mother who will do everything and anything to provide for their children. A mother who will always be there in times of trouble.
On Friday 6 May, we celebrated Mother’s Day with a high tea for our care centre residents. All of the mums got together and celebrated. Claire entertained them with some of their favourite songs, while they enjoyed cups of tea, cupcakes, cheese and crackers.
Some of them celebrated Mother’s Day with their loved ones. Kathleen Selkirk won the prize for best dressed mum.
