Covid-19 update for residents and their families who live outside of Auckland
Congratulations – we are back to COVID-19 Level 1 again from tomorrow!
Thank you so much to everyone for all your patience and support for our team since the latest round of COVID-19 restrictions came into force on August 12.
I’d also like to thank our team for all the hard work and for going the extra mile to ensure our villages remain safe havens for everyone.
From Tuesday 22 September, life at our villages will return to normal with no restrictions on activities or numbers at gatherings.
We will still require visitors to our care centres to check in at reception and sign a health declaration. We also recommend that all residents and visitors use the Government’s COVID-19 Tracer app. We no longer require you to wear a mask when you are visiting.
It is essential that if you are unwell or running a temperature, you postpone your visit and contact your doctor if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
While everything is back to normal you can be assured that we will continue to be vigilant.
COVID-19 remains a threat, and is likely to be for some time, and we will continue to take every precaution to keep it out of our villages.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to get in touch with your village manager, or residentsupport@rymanhealthcare.com.
Thanks again,
Take care and stay safe!
