Respite and day care

We're here when you need us

People often tell us they 'feel the difference' when they visit a Ryman village. Spending time in respite care in one of our assisted-living apartments or care centres is a wonderful way for us to share that experience with you. Whether it’s for a single night or a few weeks.

Respite care

At Ryman villages, we offer living and care options to suit everyone, so that you can live the way you want. If continuing to live independently is the best option for you or your loved one, that’s fine too. However, you may find that some balance is needed from time to time.

That’s where respite care comes in, to help you achieve that balance. Whether it’s to facilitate a break for a carer or to provide extra care following a hospital stay or surgery. Whatever the circumstance, we can provide respite care for as long as you need. You can even receive that care in the comfort of an assisted-living apartment.

Community and friendship are some of the most valued aspects of village life. Being welcomed into our warm village communities as a respite resident will provide valuable social connections, along with the ability to participate in the wonderful activities and events on offer.

And if you’re thinking about moving to a Ryman village, why not spend some time with us in respite care and ‘feel the difference’ before you make your decision.
