Looking back across the years to the many things you have done
To make each day full of love and a brighter one.
This brings thoughts of gratitude that no words can ever say
For the love and understanding you give us all each day.
You worry much we all know that, and its only that you care.
I guess a mother never loses the instinct to be near.
My only wish is that I will be as good as you,
So patient, so thoughtful, kind and true.
Mother’s Day for you dear mum should not be just one day,
But every day with lovely thoughts,
Even though we are miles away.
