MEDIA RELEASE

Ryman Healthcare has announced the appointment of Paula Jeffs to the company’s board.

Paula is a Melbourne-based human resources executive with experience across the healthcare, financial and government sectors.

Ryman Chairman Dr David Kerr said her appointment strengthened the board in the critical areas of people, team development and talent identification.

“We’re a high growth business and we know that finding and developing the right sort of people is critical to our success,’’ Dr Kerr said.

“When we think about the future, and the enormous potential we see for Ryman ahead, one of the greatest risks we see is attracting and developing the right people to maintain our culture and help us grow.’’

“Paula brings great insight into people and talent, and I am sure she will be a great contributor. We have got a wealth of talent and an excellent mix of skills and diverse views on the board which will see us into the future.’’

Paula’s career includes executive roles at ANZ, Austin Health and Sigma Healthcare.

She is currently GM of People and Capability at Melbourne Water, and is Ryman’s third director with a base in Victoria.

Paula said she was looking forward to joining the Ryman governance team.

“I feel privileged and excited to join the Ryman board and be part of the next stage of the company’s growth,’’ she said.

“Ryman’s culture and commitment to care is quite remarkable and the company is very serious about preserving this as it continues its expansion. I look forward to being part of this journey.”
