Shona McFarlane Retirement Village Olympic Games

Coinciding with the London Olympic Games, Shona McFarlane Serviced Apartment’s team recently challenged Malvina Major’s residents to a ‘Games Day’ involving among other events, pistol shooting, archery, floor-darts and table football.

By the end of the afternoon with scores even, the teams went into a fiercely contested potato bowls penalty ‘shoot-out’ culminating in Team Shona edging the visitors out with some very canny bowling. In the best of sporting virtue, Team Malvina congratulated the victors and the day ended with handshakes and an excellent afternoon tea.
