Shona McFarlane hosted a ‘Games Day’ with guests Malvina Major this month. The games though friendly in nature brought out a keen competitive spirit between the teams. With twenty players, and variety of games including petanque, target shooting and bowls played on a ‘Round Robin’ basis, the teams battled and tested each others skills for over one and a half hours.

A concert by Tinakori Handbell Choir treated everyone in the community lounge to a fabulous hour of music. The choir’s deft skills rang out popular tunes with clarity and fire, filling the concert room with harmonic sounds.
