This month we organised a bus trip for our residents here at Rowena Jackson, to visit Tea Pot Word at Owaka in the Caitlins.
Rowena Jackson Retirement Village Wellington Ukulele Group Visit
On the 8th of March the residents in the Donovan Wing were lucky enough to have the Wellington Ukulele Group come and perform for them. They arrived around 12.15pm and the room was a buzz of excitement.
Sarah Dore, better known as Sadie turned 100 in February. Sadie keeps the nurses on their toes in the O'Bryne wing with lots of wit and practical jokes.
Rowena Jackson Retirement Village Children's Party
In January we had our Children's party and the theme was witches and wizards. Due to the weather not being ideal we went with doing it inside in the community centre.
