Rita Angus Retirement Village ANZAC Day Service

We celebrated Anzac Day with a service on Tuesday 24th April. Major Peter Christensen took the service assisted by Ralph Hargust with Lorrian De Maine playing the piano. The last post was played by David Howan. Independent Apartment Resident Colin Calvert did a very touching reading and Independent Resident Len Frontin-Rollet laid the wreath under our New Zealand Flag. Our residents wore their medals with pride. After the service we opened the bar to remember our men and women who died or suffered in the great tragedy of war. We will remember them.
