Kiri Te Kanawa Retirement Village at the Gisborne A&P Show

As a new Retirement Village to Gisborne the A&P Show was a great chance to let more people know about us. Many people took away information packs and townhouse plans. The weather made setting up a bit tricky, especially when my main helper Trish got struck by flooding between Napier and Wairoa for most of the day!

Luckily, Ian from Poverty Bay Bowling Club came to the rescue with the heavy stuff, and like everyone else we had a great time.

To top it off we won the prize for the "Best Event Centre Site". And, yes we did share our prize with our neighbours.
