Jean Sandel Retirement Village Charity Knitting Group
Both of the blankets in the photo have been knitted for a charity called Mission without borders New Zealand. Both the blankets will be sent to Moldova which is a poor area of Russia. Barbara Chillcott was the leader of this particular blanket knitting mission and all the ladies are very proud that they were able to get together, help out this cause and send the blankets to families in need.

This month, our village made the most of our sunny days as winter is soon around the corner. One Sunny afternoon we packed the van with a delicious picnic afternoon tea and deck chairs for comfort, to a beautiful park in the area.
