Twelve of our residents emjoyed a trip up the majestic Whanganui River recently. We drove to Pipiriki, then we jet boated up river for 32kms through fern and flaxed cloaked gorges, along the way our driver/guide shared historical points of interest.
A 40 minute walk took us into the Bridge to Nowhere - a large concreate structure built in 1936 to give early pioneering farmers acess to their farms where we stopped for lunch.
A stunning day was had by all.
