Frances Hodgkins Retirement Village Clydesdale Ride

Serviced apartment and resthome residents enjoyed a Saturday morning outing in June to watch a wonderful display of horses and carts from the old farming era. About 40 Clydesdale horses starred in the street parade that was one of the highlights of the centennial celebrations for the Clydesdale Horse Society of New Zealand. This is the first time in more than 70 years that so many horses have been seen in Dunedin. We all enjoyed the morning outing along with a delicious morning tea.
