Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village Reminiscing at Museum Visit

One of our enjoyable outings was to the Pigeon Valley Museum where we spent time reminiscing and having a good rummage through items of yester-year.

While the ladies remembered the days of doing washing in the old wringer agitator washing machines, cooking on the coal range and the utensils they used for their home baking.

The men found tools similar to the ones that were passed onto them by their fathers and showed each other how they were used.
