On the 7th of June we had six of our ladies – Lorna Green, Nancy Merriman, Kay Thomson, Julia McKay, Muriel McFarlane, and Barbara Lagan - model clothes from Gables Fashions for the residents of Bob Owens.

Bob Owens Retirement Village Market Day
On the 28th of April we held our first Village Market Day. We had 23 stalls – all local handmade items, ranging from jewellery to beautiful flower garden ornaments. There were home sewn aprons, quilts, pickles, chutneys and jams, handmade wooden toys, vintage style bouquets of flowers, knitted garments and cards made by the residents. Entertainment was provided by Ces and Joy, Tyla and Madison Gartner and the Retro Chicks.
