Children’s Party at Rita Angus

Recently, Rita Angus Retirement Village held their annual children’s party for the children, grandchildren and great grand children of the Rita Angus residents and staff. There was a great turnout on the day with over eighty children and eighty adults attending.

The day kicked off at 11.30am with crowds of kids (young and old) streaming into their garden Atrium weighed down with a selection of hot foods, chilled water and sodas, and plenty of freshly sliced fruit.

The clown arrived at 12.30pm to entertain and make colourful balloon animals.

An hour later Zippity Zoo arrived to the delight of the children who congregated in the Atrium with the animals and birds to feed and pat them. Finally at 2.00pm Mrs Whippy in her musical van appeared to save the day with yummy ice creams and ice blocks for all. This was a great day, with all townhouse, serviced apartment, resthome, hospital, family, friends and children having a fun-filled party.
